1.To start line-in recording, touch M in any mode to access the playerÕs menu (during playback M has to be touched twice).

2.While ÒGo toÓ is highlighted, touch .

3.Touch or to highlight ÒLine-in RecordingÓ.

Then touch to access the line-in recording mode.

4.Touch and hold when the display shows ÒReadyÓ to start line-in recording.

5.Touch to pause record. Touch again to resume recording.

6.Touch and hold to stop recording. OR Slide the power button downwards and release to stop recording.

Adjust the volume level of the source audio device in order to achieve the optimum recording quality. The source output varies from model to model. You might want to

experiment with a few recordings to determine the proper volume output of the source to get optimum recording quality from the player. Recommend starting the source at around room volume level.
