Chapter 3: Playing Files

Viewing Photo Slideshow

Slideshow options are set through the Photos Settings in the Setup menu (go to Chapter 2 for more information). The folder you select from the Photos system folder will play based on the interval and mode you set. A slideshow is similar to a video in that you can press the forward or reverse button at any time to go to the next or previous photo in the slideshow. You can also press the Play/Pause button to pause playback of the slideshow.

Viewing Photo Slideshow With Music

An audio slideshow is set through the Photos Settings in the Setup menu (go to page Chapter 2 for more information). You need to set a slideshow first and then you can add audio to the slideshow from the Play Audio File in the Setup menu.

To change photo settings while viewing a photo, press the MENU button momentarily (the Photo Settings banner appears). Press the left or right arrow button to highlight different settings, then press SELECT to make changes to the particular setting. Press the MENU button again to make the photo settings banner disappear. The Photo Settings banner explanation follows, starting from left to right.

Color Saturation Adjusts the richness of the color. (Feature currently not available. Visit

Picture Brightness Adjusts the brightness of the picture. (Feature currently not available.

Go to Setup Screen Displays the Photos Setup screen.

LCD Brightness Adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen.

Picture Rotate Allows you to rotate the picture +90, -90, or 180 degrees. Once you change the rotation of a photo, the device saves this preference. To change the rotation for all photos, use the Photo Settings menu option in the Setup menu. Go to page 15 for more information.

Zoom Allows you to zoom 2x, Digital 4x, or Digital 8x in on the picture. Access the Settings Banner each time you want zoom and select the Zoom icon. To go back to normal view, continue to access Zoom until you select 1x.

Once a setting is changed, press SELECT (a screen appears asking if you want to save the setting. Select No to not save changes. Select Yes to save the changes to the file in the Photos system folder).
