SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read and understand this entire section before operat- ing the machine.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
•Do not touch electrically live parts or electrode with skin or wet clothing.
•Insulate yourself from work and ground.
•Always wear dry insulating gloves.
•Read and follow “Electric Shock Warnings” in the Safety section if welding must be per- formed under electrically hazardous condi- tions such as welding in wet areas or on or in the workpiece.
FUMES AND GASES
can be dangerous.
• Keep your head out of fumes.
•Use ventilation or exhaust to remove fumes from breathing zone.
WELDING SPARKS
can cause fire or explosion
•Keep flammable material away.
•Do not weld on containers that have held combustibles.
ARC RAYS can burn.
• Wear eye, ear and body protection.
Observe additional Safety Guidelines detailed in the beginning of this manual.

WELDING CAPABILITY
The SQUARE WAVE TIG 175 PROPROis rated at 150 amps, 15 volts, at 25% duty cycle on a ten minute basis. It is capable of higher duty cycles at lower output currents. It is capable of 175 amps, 27 volts at a lower duty cycle. If the duty cycle is exceeded, a thermal pro- tector will shut off the output until the machine cools.
