Remove media files from the library

1Right click on a media file. Select Remove.

2Confirm as prompted.

»The selected file is removed from the library and from all playlists. (By default, the file is only “removed”, not “deleted”.The file still exists in its original location on the computer or computer network.)

Tip

To select multiple files, hold down the Ctrl button when you click options.

To select multiple consecutive files, hold down the Shift button when you click the first and last options.

Sync the player with Philips

Songbird

Through Philips Songbird, you can sync music, video, or photos from a PC to the player.

If the player is in the MTP mode, the sync process allows media files to be converted to the formats playable on the player (see ‘PC connection preference’ on page 54).

1On the PC, launch Philips Songbird.

2Connect the player to the PC by using a USB cable.

»On Philips Songbird, the player is displayed when it is recognized by the PC.
