Loose set screw

Tighten it.

 

 

 

 

Worn bearings

If knocking sounds continue when running

 

 

replace the motor. If the motor hums or

 

 

noise appears to be internal while running,

 

 

replace motor.

 

 

 

Compressor will not run,

Check voltage. See the limits on the preceding
