The default charging current is around 500mA.
The actual charging current of rechargeable batteries depends on their condition and is controlled by the charger. It Is not user selectable.
In the case that the power source terminates, the charger will reset. Once the power source is back to normal, the battery(s) will be treated as newly installed battery(s). For a proper reset, unplug the DC jack and wait 5 seconds before plugging it back into the charger.
