Unpacking

Due to modern mass production techniques, it is unlikely that your GMC Power Tool is faulty or that a part is missing. If you find anything wrong, do not operate the tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified. Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.

Operation

It is recommended that for first time charging, you charge your spotlight using the AC power adaptor.

Important. For first time operation of spotlight, the average charge time is 12-15 hours.

Charge time after first use is 12-15 hours.

If unit is not used for two months, it is suggested the battery be recharged for approx 4 hours and repeated every 2 months of non use.

Important. Do not charge with AC and DC chargers at the same time.

AC power charging

CAUTION. Use only with AC Charging Adapters that are approved with unit.

Important. Before plugging in the power supply from the charger to the spotlight always ensure that the plug is switched off at the main as well as the spotlight and trigger switch is in the off position.

1.Connect the power supply from the charger to the spotlight via the barrel connecter. Plug into the recharge port socket located in front of the trigger switch (5).

2.Plug in the charger and switch on. The LED indicator

(6) will show power and

that charging is taking place.

3.Charge for approximately 12-15 hours maximum

or until the green LED is lit.

4.Turn off the charger power supply from the main. Disconnect the barrel connecter from the recharge port (5). Wait 5 minutes before use. Store adaptor in a safe place.

Do not overcharge – Charge until LED light green status (max 15 hours).

Important. Do not operate when charging.

DC power charging

CAUTION. Use only with DC Charging Adapters that are approved with unit.

Important. The DC source (jump starter, battery pack, vehicle accessory socket, etc.) must be 12 Volt DC and should be able to supply at least one half Amp at 12 VDC for 10 hours.

Important. Before you begin charging, ensure that the spotlight trigger switch (1) is in the off position.

1.Plug the DC fused recharge adapter (10) into the recharge port located in front of the trigger switch (5).

2.Insert the power plug into the accessory socket of your power source. The LED indicator (6) will show power and that charging is taking place.

3.Charge for approximately 15 hours max or until the green LED is lit.

4.Disconnect charger from power supply. Unplug the barrel connecter from the recharge port (5) Wait 5 minutes before use. Store adaptor in a safe place.

Do not overcharge – Charge until LED light green status.

DO NOT charge for more than 15 hours with DC charger.

NOTE. Some vehicles must have the ignition switch on to power the vehicle accessory outlet.
