OPERATION

POSITIVE 0° BEVEL STOP

See Figure 22.

The saw has a positive 0° bevel stop that has been factory adjusted to assure 0° angle of the saw blade when making 90° cuts.

TO CHECK

nRemove battery pack from saw.

WARNING:

Failure to remove battery pack from saw could result in accidental starting, causing possible serious personal injury.

nPlace the saw in an upside down position on work- bench.

nUsing a carpenter’s square, check squareness of saw blade to the base of the saw.

TO ADJUST

nRemove battery pack from saw.

nLoosen bevel adjustment knob.

nLoosen hex nut securing adjustment screw.

nTurn screw and adjust base until square with saw blade.

nTighten hex nut and bevel adjustment knob securely.
