Additional keyboard commands

Private mode - <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <Scroll Lock>

(Issue from the transmitter or receiver to disable use from the NON-issuing unit)

Keyboard and mouse reset - <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <F4>

(Issue from the transmitter or receiver to request a reset of the keyboard and mouse)

Reset to factory defaults - <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <Esc>

(Issue from the receiver only to reset the unit to factory defaults)

Applying power

Plug in the provided power adapters to a 110/220-volt source and to the power connector on the transmitter and receiver Unit. Only use the power adapter provided. GND and earth should not be connected. Mount ferrite rings in the DC lines to protect against electromagnetic interference. Boot up the connected CPU and wait for it to completely boot-up.

The two LEDs on each side of the fiber cable connector indicate the following:

Red LED, communication status

Off – no communication errors

Slow blinking – one or more communication errors occurred over a 60- minute period.

Fast blinking – Several communication errors occurred over a 60-

minute period. Green LED, Link status

On – power is on and link connection is locked.

Blinking – Fiber cable not connected or damaged.

The two LEDs next to the power connector indicate the following:

Both LEDs on – system booted correctly.

Only one LED on – unknown video mode being used.
