FAILURE TO COMPLY CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY

When blade diameter is changed, blade guard, bladeshaft drive and engine RPM (governor setting) MUST also be changed to maintain proper blade speed. Bladeshaft RPM must be checked prior to installing blade on equipment (*3). Proper blade speed (RPM) is very important for safe operation and product performance. The chart, shown below, provides the recommended bladeshaft RPM settings, which will result in proper speeds for various size blades.
