Use
Switching off:
Release the ON / OFF switch 4 .
Pause: At least 48 seconds
CAUTION! Never heat up the device if it is not fitted with a sol- dering tip.
ATTENTION! Never use in continuous operation mode. The flow of electrical current controls the delivery of soldering heat. As soon as the ON / OFF switch 4 is released, the delivery of soldering heat drops. If the ON / OFF switch 4 is pressed again, the deliv- ery of soldering heat rises. Pay particular attention to achieving an even delivery of soldering heat to ensure the highest soldering quali- ty. You can do this by not allowing the soldering tip 1 to become excessively hot.
Note: The device has a soldering light 3 to illuminate the work- ing area.
Replacing a soldering tip
CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS! Allow the device to cool down before replacing a soldering tip.
Release the two union nuts | 2 |
