Makita Limited ONE Year Warranty

Warranty Policy

Every Makitatool is thoroughly inspectedand tested before leavingthe factory. It is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materialsfor the period of ONE YEAR from the date of original purchase. Shouldany trouble developduring this one-yearperiod, returnthe COMPLETEtool, freight prepaid,to one of Makita’s Factory or Authorized Service Centers. If inspectionshows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Makita will repair (or, at our option, replace) without charge.

This Warranty does not apply where:

0repairs have been made or attempted by others

repairs are required because of normal wear and tear

0 the tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained

0alterations have been made to the tool

In no event shall Makita be ilable for any indirect, incidentalor consequentialdamages from the sale or use of the product. This disclaimerapplies both durlng and after the term of warranty.

Makita disclaims liability for any implled warranties, Including Implied warranties of “merchan- tability” and “fitness for a speclflc purpose”, after the oneyear term of this warranty.

This Warrantygives you specific legal rights, and you may also have the other rightswhich vary from state to state. Some statesdo not allow the exclusionor limitationof incidentalor consequentialdamages,sothe above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
