Prerequisites

Before installing EVM host agent V2.0D software, make sure you consider the following items:

Has the EVM Server V2.0D software been installed on the HP OpenView Management Appliance? If not, install the EVM Server V2.0D software before continuing.

Does the host computer that the EVM host agent V2.0D software is being installed on have visibility to a Management Appliance in the same SAN environment? If not, refer to the EVM Network Administration Guide.
