8.Configure the RTE and JPI for Netscape 4.7x or 6.2.x using one of the following options:

Loading and configuring the ControlPanel.html in the Netscape browser

Running the ControlPanel script, which launches the ControlPanel Java application for loading and configuring

Part 1 – Loading ControlPanel.html in the Netscape browser

a.Choose File > Open Page.

b.In the file selection window, type

/opt/java1.3/jre/ControlPanel.html.

c.Choose Open in Navigator to open the file.

d.Continue with “Part 2 - Loading the ControlPanel.”

Part 1 – Loading the ControlPanel from the command prompt

a.Change the working directory to /opt/java1.3/jre/bin.

b.Enter ./ControlPanel.

c.Continue with “Part 2 - Loading the ControlPanel.”

Part 2 - Loading the ControlPanel

a.Click the Basic tab.

b.Select Enable Java Plug-In.
