Assembly

1)Remove the heater body and base from box, remove the packaging materials.

2)Lay the heater body on a level surface, then unscrew the 2 butterfly screws from the bottom of the heater.

3)Pull the power cord through the hole at the center of the base, and align the base with the bottom of the heater. The power cord should fit through the slot in the base.

4)Attach the base to the heater body with the butterfly screws.

Operating Instructions

1)Place the heater on a firm, level surface and plug into a grounded 115V 60Hz power outlet.

2)Press the buttons located on top for the desired setting: (refer to Figure 2)

LOW: Only one of the reflective tubes will operate, heating up to 400W.

HIGH: Both reflective tubes operate, heating up to 800W.

SWING: The unit will oscillate 60.° This feature can be used on both low and high settings.

OFF: Heater will stop operating.

3)Unplug the heater when not in use.

Important Safeguards

5)Do not install the unit directly under a power outlet.

6)Do not share the power outlet with other appliances.

7)Do not use an adapter or extension cord.

8)Unplug the unit when not in use for a prolonged period.

Maintenance

1)Unplug the unit and let it cool.

2)To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. CAUTION: Do not let liquid enter the heater.

3)Do not immerse the heater in water.

4)Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.

Storage

Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. Preferably, to prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the old packaging to repack the unit.
