TCOpenSource Components Shipped on the HP-UX Internet Express Media

Included with Internet Express A.08.00 for HP-UX 11i v2 only are the TCO tools, a bundle of open source technical computing tools.

The TCO tools have not been tested or validated on HP-UX 11i v2 and are not supported by HP. These components are provided with Internet Express A.08.00 “as is”.

The following sections list the TCOpenSource components shipped on the HP-UX Internet Express media.

Bash

Bash is the GNU Project’s Bourne-Again SHell, which is a complete implementation of the POSIX.2 shell specification, including interactive command line editing, job control on architectures that support this functionality, history, and brace expansion.

Cdrecord

Cdrecord is used to record data or audio to CD.

Emacs

Emacs is the extensible, customizable, self-documenting realtime display editor.
