Upgrading from a Previous Version
WARNING! Make sure that no backup jobs are running in the background, and that any running applications are closed prior to upgrading VSS Provider for Microsoft Windows.
NOTE: If you have previously installed VSS Provider for Microsoft Windows, you may remove the definition of environment variables TPDSYSNAME and TPDPWFILE. Both environment variables are no longer valid for the current VSS Provider release.
