Touch or hold either the up (▲) or down (▼) buttons until the desired temperature is shown on the display. The temperature will be automatically maintained anywhere between 61°F and 86°F for cooling mode.

The fan speed will automatically adjust between HI, MED, and LOW depending on the room temperature. The closer the room is to the set temperature, the lower the fan speed.
