4.Release the right side of the vanity cover (2) by lifting it slightly away from the base.

NOTE: It is normal for the vanity cover to flex slightly, and you may also hear some popping noises when the vanity cover tabs disengage from the base.

5.Press the left release button (1).

6.Release the left side of the vanity cover (2) by lifting it slightly away from the base.
