Setting the Scene Mode

By simply selecting one of the following 32 modes, you can capture the image with the most appropriate settings.

1.From the Record MENU icon, tap to select Scene Mode. Or, tap on-screen Record mode icon to enter scene mode selections.

2.Tap the and to move through the scene mode selections.

3.The center highlighted scene mode icon will either have text to describe the benefits of the mode or will have a side by side photo comparison that illustrates the benefits of selecting that scene mode. It is important to note that by selecting a particular scene mode (other that Auto) will take the camera out of it’s normal automatic settings capabilities and therefore optimize various settings that match a specific scene.

4.Once the desired scene mode is highlighted, tap the icon to select and exit to live view. The camera will remain in this scene mode until another is selected.

5.It is important to return the camera to the Auto mode when finished shooting specifics conditions. This will reduce the risk of taking a bad photo in normal situations.
