Important Information about your DVD Writer

To increase your DVD recording flexibility, your DVD Writer is a dual format drive that is compatible with both plus (+) R format (DVD+R/RW) and minus (–) R format (DVD–R/RW) discs for recording files.

NOTE: Compatibility varies with different brands of discs.

Currently, the following tool and program are not compatible with DVD-R/RW discs and require the use of the following discs:

•Creating System Recovery discs — use DVD+R discs

•InterVideo WinDVD Creator — use DVD+R or DVD+RW discs
