Inserting a Drive into the MultiBay

If the device does not start, ensure that the necessary device drivers are installed on the system. If they are not available, they may be downloaded, at no cost, from the Compaq Web site at www.compaq.com.

Removing a Drive from the MultiBay

1.Exit all software applications, shut down the operating system software, and turn off the personal computer if you are inserting or removing a hard drive.

2.Remove the MultiBay security screw, if it has been installed. Refer to “Uninstalling the MultiBay Security Screw” on page 2-4.
