NOTE: SAS Tape Drives: Connecting hard drive cage and SAS tape to the same SAS Controller using split cable (supplied with tape drive) deactivates 1 of the hard drive bays. Actual hard drive bay deactivated depends on where split cable plugs into SAS drive connector. Example: 3x SAS cable connector plugged into SAS drive connector (5-8) on the back of the hard drive cage would mean drive bay 8 is deactivated.

ML350 specifications

The HP ProLiant ML350 is a highly reliable and versatile tower server designed for small to medium-sized businesses seeking powerful performance and expandability. This server is engineered to handle demanding workloads, provide enhanced uptime, and support the growth of businesses with its robust features and technologies.

One of the main features of the ML350 is its modular design, which allows for significant scalability. The server supports a variety of processors, including Intel Xeon Scalable processors, which provide multi-core performance and improved energy efficiency. Organizations can choose between single or dual processor configurations depending on their computing needs.

The ML350 offers an impressive memory capacity, supporting up to 768 GB of DDR4 memory across its 24 DIMM slots. This ensures that applications can run smoothly, even under heavy load conditions. The server also supports HP's Smart Memory technology, which optimizes performance by taking advantage of the latest memory technologies.

Storage is another highlight of the ML350. It features multiple drive bays for both HDD and SSD options, offering considerable flexibility for configuring storage solutions that meet specific performance or capacity requirements. The server's Smart Array technology enhances storage performance and data protection with RAID configurations that help to keep critical business data safe and accessible.

In terms of connectivity, the ML350 provides multiple PCIe slots, allowing organizations to install various add-on cards such as network adapters or storage controllers, enhancing the server’s capabilities. The built-in networking options include both Gigabit Ethernet and optional 10 GbE capable adapters, ensuring swift data transfer across the network.

Moreover, HP’s iLO (Integrated Lights-Out) technology is integrated into the ML350, enabling remote management capabilities. This feature allows IT administrators to monitor and control the server from virtually anywhere, enhancing the server's manageability and reducing potential downtime.

The HP ProLiant ML350 stands out in its category due to its reliability, efficient performance, and ease of management. With its combination of powerful processing capabilities, extensive memory and storage options, and advanced management features, it is a great choice for businesses looking to invest in a robust server that can adapt to their evolving needs.
