Laser compliance

This product may be provided with a device containing a laser that is classified as a Class 1 Laser Product in accordance with US FDA regulations and the IEC 60825-1. The product does not emit hazardous laser radiation.

Each laser product complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11, except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice No. 50, dated May 27, 2001; and with IEC 60825-1:1993/A2:2001.

ÅWARNING: Use of controls or adjustments, or performance of procedures other than those specified in the laser product installation guide, may result in hazardous radiation exposure. To reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous radiation:

Do not try to open the module enclosure. There are no user-serviceable components inside.

Do not operate controls, make adjustments, or perform procedures to the laser device other than those specified in the laser product installation guide.

Allow only authorized service providers to repair the unit.

Modem notices

Do not use this product near water—for example, near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.

Avoid using this product during an electrical storm. There is a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.

Do not use this product to report a gas leak while in the vicinity of the leak.

Always disconnect the modem cable before opening the equipment enclosure or touching an uninsulated modem cable, jack, or internal component.

If this product was not provided with a telephone line cord, use only 0.126 mm² (No. 26 AWG) or larger telecommunication line cord.

Do not plug a modem or telephone cable into the RJ-45 (network) jack.
