To import appointments and other calendar events manually:

1 Export calendar events from any calendar application that uses the standard vCal format (filenames end in .vcs).

2 Drag the files to the Calendars folder on iPod.

To view contacts on iPod:

￿Select Extras > Contacts.

To view calendar events:

￿Select Extras > Calendar.

Storing and Reading Notes and Other Information

You can store and read text notes on iPod. iPod must be enabled as a hard disk (see page 35).

1 Save a document in any word-processing application as a text (.txt) file.

2 Place the file in the Notes folder on iPod.
