With the great emphasis being placed on vehicle weight reduction, Bendix has designed a new lightweight type 18 and 20 slack adjuster. The new unit, lighter than the current design, provides the same strength characteristics and is interchangeable with the older design unit.

Piece numbers remain unchanged, and changeover to the new design will be on an ongoing basis. Orders will be filled with the new design, as they become available.
