Setting the Clock
In
If the last listening mode was the CD player, play will start from the first track.

You might permanently damage your speakers by cleaning them with a vacuum cleaner. Use a feather duster or a soft loose cloth instead.

1.When clock is shown, hold down
CLOCK /MEMORY for more than three seconds until '(> or (*> flashing is displayed.
2.Press ) or
3.Press CLOCK /MEMORY button again to save. The hour digits flash on the display.
4.Repeatedly press or hold down ) or - to select the hour.
5.Press CLOCK /MEMORY again to save. The minute digits flash.
6.Repeatedly press or hold down ) or - to select the minutes.
7.Press CLOCK/MEMORY once more to save. Clock is set.

The timer acts as an alarm clock, powering on the stereo in the last listening mode. Once the timer is set, it will come on at the same time everyday.
1.Hold down SLEEP/TIMER for more than three seconds until J?C;H flashes on the display.
2.Hold down CLOCK/MEMORY for more than three seconds until the hour digits flash.
3.Repeatedly press or hold down ) or - to select desired hour.
4.Press CLOCK/MEMORY again to save. The minute digits flash.
5.Repeatedly press or hold down ) or - to select the minutes.
6.Press CLOCK/MEMORY once more to save. J?C;H flashes for a few more seconds then stops flashing. Then the timer is set.

When it is time for
If you wish to snooze for some more time, press SNOOZE, the unit will be turned off for five minutes. Five minutes later, it will start to play again automatically.

To turn off the timer, press TIMER on the remote or, hold down SLEEP/TIMER on the stereo for more than three seconds until J?C;H disappears.

The stereo can be set to turn off automatically, so that it does not continue playing after you have gone to sleep. To set a “sleep time”, press SLEEP repeatedly until the desired time is shown on the display. The maximum sleep time is 90 minutes. The setting decreases by 10 minutes every time you press SLEEP. To cancel the sleep setting, press SLEEP repeatedly until IB;;F disappears.

Keep the stereo dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the stereo only in normal temperature environments.
Handle the stereo carefully; do not drop it. Keep the stereo away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new..
