8970 Series, 8971 Series specifications

The American Standard 8971 and 8970 Series are renowned for their innovative design, durability, and efficiency in bathroom comfort and functionality. Both series reflect a commitment to quality, offering various technologies and features that cater to modern consumer needs.

The 8971 Series is celebrated for its advanced flushing technology. Featuring the industry-leading EverClean coating, this toilet promotes cleanliness by inhibiting the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew on its surface. This innovative glaze ensures that the toilet remains cleaner for longer periods, reducing maintenance effort and frequency. The powerful siphon jet flush system effectively removes waste with just one flush, conserving water while providing superior performance.

In terms of design, the 8971 Series boasts a sleek and contemporary aesthetic that fits seamlessly into any bathroom decor. With a comfortable height that is ADA compliant, the toilet provides ease of access for all users, including those with limited mobility. It offers a choice of elongated or round bowls, allowing homeowners to select the style that best fits their preferences and space constraints.

On the other hand, the American Standard 8970 Series emphasizes both performance and design. Like the 8971 Series, it incorporates the EverClean surface for easy maintenance. However, the 8970 Series stands out with its innovative Ultra-High Efficiency Toilet (UHET) technology, which uses only 1.28 gallons per flush, promoting water conservation without sacrificing flush performance. This makes it an environmentally friendly option for eco-conscious consumers.

Both series feature a 2-inch trapway design, which optimizes waste removal and minimizes the chances of clogs. With varying height options, these toilets also cater to different user needs, ensuring comfort during use.

Furthermore, both series come equipped with a robust wax ring seal for leak-free performance and are compatible with various toilet seats, providing customization options for users. Installation is straightforward, aligned with American Standard’s reputation for user-friendly designs.

In conclusion, the American Standard 8971 and 8970 Series toilets combine advanced technologies, stylish aesthetics, and durable construction, making them ideal choices for anyone looking to enhance their bathroom with reliable and efficient fixtures. Their features and technologies make them stand out in a crowded market, truly elevating the standards for quality in bathroom sanitation.
