Technical Specifications

All specifications given in this brochure are approximate. Actual specifications for each individual product will vary according to model. Your Gazco retailer will be pleased to provide any further information you require or you may view/download specification sheets from www.gazco.com

Installation

Gazco gas fires must be fitted by a qualified gas installer (CORGI registered in the UK) who should also verify the proposed site conditions are fully suitable for the product selected. Complete installation instructions for many models can be obtained prior to purchase by downloading them from www.gazco.com

Colours

Owing to variations in studio lighting and printing inks, the finishes/colours of fires illustrated in this brochure may differ slightly from actual models. Before purchasing, please ask your retailer to show you finish/colour samples.

Care and maintenance

Traditional materials, such as polished steel and brass, tarnish on contact with air, especially when also exposed to heat. To help minimise this effect, we recommend fires receive regular treatment with Stovax Steel Cleaner and Stovax Brass & Copper Polish. Other surfaces can be maintained from time to time with Stovax Stainless Steel Cleaner and Stovax Traditional Black Grate Polish. Additionally, please remember that gas fires will require servicing annually by a CORGI registered engineer.

Product improvement

Gazco's policy is one of constant product improvement. Appliances may therefore sometimes differ from the descriptions or illustrations in this brochure.

Please note: The operation and appearance of gas appliances depends on variable factors such as gas pressure supplied and exact fire conditions.

Air ventilation for gas fires

To comply with gas appliance installation regulations, all Studio 2 and 3 Open Fronted fires, all Glass Fronted Conventionally flued Studio 2 fires, all Standard VFC Convector and tapered fires, all fires for Stovax Classic Fireplaces and most Fire Baskets require additional ventilation into your room. Please consult either your Gazco retailer or the Gazco Technical Information on our website www.gazco.com to confirm the ventilation required. Gazco offer suitable wall and floor vents which are available from your local retailer.

All other fires featured in this brochure do not require additional ventilation.

Their products combine traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, making them a popular choice for homeowners seeking both style and functionality.

One of the standout features of Stovax gas and electric fires is their efficiency. The advanced combustion systems utilized in gas fires ensure that they operate at high efficiencies, providing maximum heat output while minimizing energy consumption. This makes them an eco-friendly option for consumers looking to reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, Stovax electric fires offer the convenience of instant heat, with many models featuring adjustable heat settings to suit individual requirements.

Stovax places a strong emphasis on design, with a variety of styles available to suit any home décor. From sleek, modern options to more traditional designs, their fires can seamlessly blend into both contemporary and classic interiors. The range includes inset fires, free-standing stoves, and wall-mounted units, offering flexibility in installation and placement. Many models are customizable, allowing consumers to select different finishes and media to personalize their fire.

Technology is at the forefront of Stovax’s gas and electric fires. Their electric fires feature LED flame effects that create a realistic glow, simulating the ambience of a traditional flame without the need for a flue. This technology not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ensures safety and ease of use. For gas fires, the incorporation of remote control functionality allows users to operate their fire with ease, enhancing user convenience. Some models even come equipped with smart home compatibility, enabling remote operation via mobile devices.

Another notable characteristic of Stovax fires is their commitment to safety. Many gas models are designed with built-in safety features, such as automatic shut-off systems and carbon monoxide detection, ensuring peace of mind for users. For electric options, thermal cut-off technology prevents overheating, further enhancing safety.

In essence, Stovax gas and electric fires represent the right balance of efficiency, design, and advanced technology. Whether customers are looking for an eco-friendly heating solution or a stunning focal point for their living space, Stovax provides an extensive selection that meets diverse needs and preferences, making them a leading choice in the fireplace market.
