Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) certification information

THIS DEVICE MEETS INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES

Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves (radio frequency electromagnetic fields) recommended by international guidelines. The guidelines were developed by an independent scientific organisation (ICNIRP) and include

a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.

The radio wave exposure guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2.0 W/kg.

Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. The highest SAR values under the ICNIRP guidelines for this device model are:

Maximum SAR for this model and conditions under which it was recorded

Head SAR

0.733 W/kg

Body-worn SAR

0.319 W/kg

During use, the actual SAR values for this device are usually well below the values stated above. This is because, for purposes of system efficiency and to minimise interference on the network, the operating power of your mobile device is automatically decreased when full power is not needed for the call. The lower the power output of the device, the lower its SAR value.

The Samsung GT-S6102 series, including models such as GT-S6102SKAXSK, GT-S6102TKAXEZ, GT2S6102UWAXSK, GT2S6102SKAXSK, and GT2S6102TKAXEZ, represents a blend of functionality and style tailored for users seeking essential smartphone features without the high-end complexities.

At the core of the Samsung GT-S6102 is its dual SIM capability, a feature that appeals to users who want the convenience of running two phone numbers on a single device. This functionality is ideal for those who balance personal and professional calls, allowing seamless communication without the need to carry multiple phones.

The design of the GT-S6102 series is compact and user-friendly, with a 3.14-inch touchscreen display that provides clear visibility and responsive touch functionality. The screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels ensures that daily tasks such as texting, calling, and browsing are easily manageable.

Performance-wise, these devices are powered by a 1 GHz processor, which delivers adequate speed for typical smartphone tasks. Coupled with 512 MB of RAM, users can navigate applications and multitask with minimal lag. The internal storage of 160 MB can be expanded using a microSD card, accommodating users who require additional space for apps, photos, and music.

A noteworthy feature of the GT-S6102 series is its camera setup. With a 3.15 MP rear camera, it allows users to capture moments with decent quality, while the absence of a front-facing camera is compensated by a simple UI that focuses on essential communication.

The series also boasts connectivity options, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, enabling users to stay connected effortlessly. It's equipped with a long-lasting battery, offering reliable usage throughout the day.

In terms of software, the GT-S6102 runs on Android, albeit an older version, providing access to a variety of applications through the Google Play Store. This allows for basic customization and enhancements tailored to individual user preferences.

Ultimately, the Samsung GT-S6102 series delivers practicality with a range of features suited for basic smartphone users. Its combination of dual SIM functionality, decent camera quality, expandable storage, and reliable battery life makes it a viable choice for those seeking straightforward communication in a portable device.
