To store additional files, you must insert a memory card. You can search for files in the memory card and delete files from the memory card.

Insert a memory card (optional)

Open the cover of the memory card slot and insert a memory card.

Insert the memory card with the label side facing up.

Push the memory card in the memory card slot until it locks in place.

When the memory card is correctly inserted, will appear at the top of the main menu screen.

Caution

Your player accepts microSD™ or microSDHC™ memory cards from 1 GB to 16 GB. (Use only memory cards compatible with your player. Depending on the manufacturer, some memory cards may not be compatible with your player.)

Do not insert a memory card in the wrong direction.

Do not remove a memory card from your player while in use.

Remember to make backup copies of all important data stored on memory cards. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover loss of data that results from user actions.

Remove a memory card

To remove a memory card, push it gently until it disengages from the player, and then pull the memory card out of the memory card slot.
