1.Press the PTY SEARCH button while listening to an FM station.

2.Press the PTY- or PTY+ button until the PTY code you want appears on the display.

The display gives you the PTY codes described to the right.

3.Press the PTY SEARCH button again, while the PTY code selected in the previous step is still on the display.

The centre unit searches 29 preset FM stations, stops when it finds the one you have selected, and tunes in that station.

3.Press the ◄► buttons to select the desired sound effect.

MP3 Enhancer Power Bass Football Virtual 7.1 Off

MP3 Enhancer : Helps enhance your sound experience (ex. mp3 music). You can upscale your MP3 level sound (24 kHz, 8bit) to CD level sound (44.1 kHz, 16bit).

Power Bass : Increases the volume level of bass tones and provides thudding sound effects.

Football : Creates a more dynamic, realistic, stadium like sound. For listening to football, soccer, and other sporting events.

Virtual 7.1 : Creates a virtual 7.1 CH sound using the 5.1 CH speaker system.

Off : Select for normal listening.

Dolby Pro Logic II

Movie Music Game Matrix Pro Logic Off

Movie : Adds realism to a movie soundtrack.

Music : When listening to music, you can experience sound effects as if you are listening to the actual performance.

Game : Enhances the excitement of a game’s sound.

Matrix : Select to hear multi channel surround sound.

Pro Logic : Select to listen to a 2CH sound source in 5.1CH surround sound with all speakers active.

-A specific speaker(s) may not output depending on the input signal.

Off : Select for normal listening.

SFE Mode

Symphony Hall in Boston (Hall 1) Philharmonic Hall in Bratislava (Hall 2) Jazz Club in Seoul B

Church in Seoul Amphitheater (Rock) Off

• Symphony Hall in Boston (Hall 1) : Provides a clear vocal as if listening in a concert hall.

• Philharmonic Hall in Bratislava (Hall 2) : Also provides a clear vocal as if listening in a concert hall but, less powerful than HALL1.

• Jazz Club in Seoul B : Recommended setting for Jazz.

• Church in Seoul : Gives the feel of being in a grand church.

• Amphitheater (Rock) : Recommended setting for Rock.

• Off : Select for normal listening.

3D Sound

You can enjoy more natural and vivid surround sound with enriched tones by adjusting the depth of sound using the level options.

Off High Low

NOTES

3D Sound is not available in FM mode.
