The detection range of Motion Timer

●Description of Self-timer

Icon	Mode	Description

	10s	Pressing the shutter button will allow an interval of
	10s	10 seconds before the image is taken.
		10 seconds before the image is taken.

	2s	Pressing the shutter button will allow an interval of
	2s	2 seconds before the image is taken.
		2 seconds before the image is taken.

	Double	A picture will be taken after about 10 seconds and
	Double	2 seconds later a second picture will be taken.
		2 seconds later a second picture will be taken.

	Motion	The camera detects the subject's movement after 6 seconds
	Motion	from pressing the Shutter button, and the picture is taken
	Timer	from pressing the Shutter button, and the picture is taken

INFORMATION

●When taking a picture using the self-timer, the self-timer lamp works as follows :

2 second self-timer setting : The self-timer lamp blinks at 0.25 second intervals for 2 seconds before taking the picture.

10 second self-timer setting : The self-timer lamp blinks at 1 second intervals for the first 7 seconds. It blinks at 0.25 second intervals for the remaining 3 seconds before taking the picture.

●If you operate the BACK mode button during the self-timer operation, the self-timer function is canceled.

●Use a tripod to prevent camera shake.

	No movement is detected	Turn on and the image is taken after

■The Motion Time flows are as followings.

Selecting the Motion Time → Pressing the Shutter button → Confirming the composition (Within 6 sec.)*1 → Starting the detection (Swing your hands fully)*2 → Stopping the detection (Do not move) → Taking an image (after 2 sec.)

*1 : The camera detects the subject's movement after 6 seconds from pressing the Shutter button, so confirm the composition within 6 seconds.

*2 : Move your body or hands fully.

INFORMATION

●In the following cases, the Motion Timer may not operate.

- The focus distance is over 3m.

- The exposure is too bright or dark

-In backlight condtion

-The movement is insignificant

-The movement is detected out of the center part (50%) of the sensor

where the movement is recognized.
