You can use the buttons or the touch screen when you make, accept, end or reject calls.
Make a call
1 | In Idle mode, open the application list and select |
| Phone → Keypad, and enter an area code and a |
phone number.
2 Select | to make a voice call. |
When you hold the device near your face, your device automatically turns off the touch screen to prevent accidental inputs.
3 To end the call, select End call.
•Use the phonebook to save numbers you dial frequently. ► p. 66
•To quickly access the call log to redial the numbers you dialled recently, select Phone → Logs.

Answer a call
1 | When a call comes in, drag right until it reaches |
| the dot. |
When the device is ringing, press the Volume key to mute the ringtone.
2 To end the call, select End call.
