OPERATION

PLAYING THE RADIO

1.Rotate DYNAMO/BATT to BATT if you have installed AA batteries. To power the radio using the Ni-Cd pack or the generator, rotate DYNAMO/ BATT to DYNAMO.

2.Set FM/AM/OFF to the desired band.

3.Rotate TUNING to select the desired station.

4.Adjust VOLUME to a comfortable listening level.

5.To turn off the radio, set FM/AM/OFF to OFF.

USING THE DISPLAY LIGHT

Hold down LIGHT to illuminate the dial in low-light conditions.

USING THE SIGNAL ALARM

Press EMERGENCY ALARM. The radio sounds a loud, repeating beep. Press EMERGENCY ALARM again to
