Connection Setting For Surround Back

Settings for the surround back speaker differ depending on the connection method and installation site of the speaker to be connected. You must configure the 7.1 CHANNEL settings according to the connected speaker before you listen to music properly.

1.Press the SETUP/MENU button on the remote control.

Each time the button is pressed, the mode switches between INPUT and SETUP OFF.

Press the ▲▼ buttons to select 7.1 CHANNEL, and then

 

 

press the ENTER button.

Press the ▲▼ to select a proper setting for the surround back

 

speaker.

 

SURR.BACK : Select this if you want to install the surround back speaker in the default settings. With this setting, you can enable the Dolby Pro Logic IIx mode.

PLIIz : Select this if you want to install the surround back speaker in the top front corner. With this setting, you can enable the Dolby Pro Logic IIz mode.

NOTE

Depending on the 7.1 CHANNEL settings, the surround back speaker or front height speaker menus may not be activated or may differ in the speaker menu:

SPEAKER SIZE, SPEAKER LEVEL, SPEAKER DISTANCE.

Depending on your setting, you may not use different features simultaneously.

If you set SURR-BACK, for instance, you cannot use the following feature: PLIIz.
