Install the SIM or USIM card and battery

When you subscribe to a cellular service, you will receive a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card, with subscription details, such as your personal identification number (PIN) and optional services. To use UMTS or HSDPA services, you can purchase a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) card.

To install the SIM or USIM card and battery,

If the device is on, press and hold the Power key and select Yes to turn it off.

Press the button at the bottom of the back cover and slide the back cover until it stops.

●● Do not slide the back cover too hard. Doing this may separate the back cover from the device and cause damage to the device.

●● Be careful not to damage your fingers when you slide the back cover.
