Connecting to a Wireless LAN

If there is an AP nearby, you can connect to a wireless LAN.

Click on Networks and check the WiFi settings.

 

If the slide bar of the WiFi item is set to the left, move it

to the right with the mouse. Available APs are listed in the Networks field on the right.

Click the Connect button for the AP to connect to.

 

 

If the AP is protected by a network key, enter the key and click

Connect.

 

Ask your network administrator about the network key.

When the connection is successfully established, the

Connected message appears.

If you move the mouse pointer over the Networks item on the Desktop, you will be able to confirm that the icon () has been changed.
