Setting up the Parental Control

The Parental Control function works in conjunction with DVDs that have been assigned a rating which helps

you control the types of DVDs that your family watches. There are up to 8 rating levels on a disc.

5 Press the OK or √ button to select Password.

No Disc	Parental Control
Programme Password	Off
Setup	On

MOVE OK RETURN EXIT

With the unit in Stop mode/No Disc mode,
1 press the	MENU button.
	No Disc	Timer Record
	Programme	ShowView	√
	Setup	Timer Record	√
		ShowView Extended : Off	√

Press the	…† buttons to select	On or Off,
6 then press the	OK or √ button.

■ Press the RETURN or œ button to return

	NUMBER	OK	RETURN		EXIT
Enter the 4-digit password using the						0 to 9
4 buttons on the remote control.
The ‘Confirm the password.’ message will be displayed.
Enter your password again.
	No Disc			Parental Control
	Programme
	Setup
		Confirm the password
	NUMBER	OK	RETURN		EXIT

If you forgot your password

1 Remove the disc.

Hold down	(FF) on the front panel for 5
2 seconds or more.
