STORING

Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. Store the appliance in a dry location. Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may result in possible damage of appliance.

Store the cord in a clean, dry location away from metal objects. Always check the plug before use to assure metal items have not become attached.

REMOVING THE RECHARAGEABLE BATTERY

In case the battery has reached the end of life cycle (approx. 1000 charges) it can be replaced by a replacement battery. Replacement batteries can be ordered from our Service Department (see attached order form).

ƒTo remove the battery unplug the charger and remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging station.

ƒDischarge the battery by switching the unit on and running the vacuum cleaner to a full stand still of the motor.

ƒTo remove the battery open the battery compartment at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner with a screw driver. (see FIG. 7)

ƒOpen the battery compartment lid and pull the battery as far as possible out of the unit. Now disconnect the power cables on the battery. (see FIG. 8)

NOTE: Please bring the used battery to your next recycle station for proper disposal. Do not dispose the battery into your normal household waste/garbage.
