Installation . . . as easy as 1, 2, 3

1.Mounting Choose a structurally sound location to mount your Kicker amplifier. The controls on the top of the amplifier need to be accessible for adjustment. Make sure there are no items behind the area where the screws will be driven. Choose a location that allows at least 4” (10cm) of open ventilation for the amplifier. If possible, mount the amplifier in the climate-controlled passenger compartment. Drill four holes using a 7/64” (3mm) bit and use the supplied #8 screws to mount the amplifier.

2.Wiring Disconnect the vehicle’s battery to avoid an electrical short. Then connect the ground wire to the amplifier. Make the ground wire short, 24” (60cm) or less, and connect it to a paint-andcorrosion-freesolid-metal area of the vehicle's chassis. Adding an additional ground wire between the

battery's negative post and the vehicle chassis of this same gauge (or larger) is

recommended.

ZX750.1, ZX400.1 specifications

Kicker, a well-known name in the audio industry, offers a range of high-performance car amplifiers, including the ZX750.1 and ZX400.1. These amplifiers are designed to deliver exceptional sound quality and massive power output, making them popular choices for car audio enthusiasts.

The Kicker ZX750.1 is a monoblock amplifier that delivers an impressive 750 watts of power at 1 ohm. It is engineered for optimal performance with subwoofers, making it an ideal choice for those looking to enhance the bass response in their vehicle. One of the key features of the ZX750.1 is its variable low-pass filter, which allows users to adjust the frequency range for tailored output. This ensures that the bass produced is not only powerful but also clean and distortion-free. Additionally, the amplifier includes a bass boost feature that allows users to emphasize lower frequencies for an even more robust sound.

Kicker's ZX400.1, on the other hand, is a compact and versatile monoblock amplifier rated at 400 watts at 2 ohms. Its smaller size does not compromise on power, making it a perfect fit for a variety of applications. The ZX400.1 also incorporates Kicker’s variable low-pass filter and bass boost technology, giving users similar options for customization. This amplifier’s efficient design allows for greater heat dissipation and minimizes the risk of overheating during extended use.

Both amplifiers boast durable construction with a sleek and modern design. They feature a robust aluminum heat sink that helps dissipate heat effectively, ensuring longevity and reliability even under heavy use. The amplifiers also come equipped with a signal sensing turn-on feature, which simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a separate remote turn-on lead.

In terms of connectivity, both the ZX750.1 and ZX400.1 come with high-quality input options, including RCA inputs and screw terminals for speaker connections. These features facilitate easy integration with existing audio systems and enhance overall sound quality.

Overall, the Kicker ZX750.1 and ZX400.1 are excellent choices for anyone looking to elevate their car audio experience. With their impressive power output, customizable features, and sturdy build quality, these amplifiers offer performance and reliability that is hard to beat in the competitive car audio market. Whether you're seeking deep bass or crystal-clear sound, Kicker’s ZX series amplifiers deliver on all fronts, making them a worthy investment for audio enthusiasts.
