Performance problems often result from little things you can find and fix without tools of any kind. Please check the chart below for problems you can fix. It could save you the cost of a service call.

lHas a household fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped7 Use the correct time- delay fuses. Reset circuit breaker.

lIs an extension cord being used? Do not use an extension cord with this or any other applii.

lIs room temperature below 18.3% (655°F)7 Coils will become iced over at low temperatures.

lAre coils clogged with lint? Clean lint from coils (see “Caring for Your Dehumidi- fief on pages 9 and 10).

lIs room humidii low’? Do not operate unit when humidity is low.

lIs room temperature below 18.3% (65”F)? Do not operate unit in low tempera- tures - coils will become iced over. (See ‘Deicer control” on page 7.)

lIsunitreasonaM y level’? Level unit front to back and side to side.

lIs hose kinked or drain clogged?

l Is water pan overflowing? Remove and empty water pan. Replace pan property and check to see that unit is level.

NOTE: When moving your dehumidifier, keep the unit in an upright position.
