AM5 specifications

The Directed Electronics AM5 is a cutting-edge car security system designed to provide unparalleled protection for vehicles while offering a suite of advanced features for convenience and operational smoothness. Its comprehensive suite of technologies and characteristics makes it a popular choice among automotive enthusiasts and casual users alike.

One of the standout features of the Directed Electronics AM5 is its two-way remote communication system. This capability allows the user to receive confirmation signals from the vehicle, ensuring that commands such as locking or unlocking doors have been executed successfully. The two-way communication also enhances the security of the system by providing immediate alerts if the vehicle is tampered with or if an intrusion is detected.

The AM5 utilizes a multi-layer, state-of-the-art security protocol, featuring advanced sensors for shock, tilt, and glass break detection. The shock sensor monitors for impacts that may likely indicate attempts of theft, while the tilt sensor can detect if the vehicle is being towed or jacked. The incorporation of glass break sensors adds another layer of protection by alerting the owner if a window is smashed.

Additionally, the Directed Electronics AM5 features a built-in immobilizer, which provides an extra measure of deterrence against vehicle theft. This technology disables the engine if an unauthorized entry is detected, making it nearly impossible for thieves to start the vehicle.

User convenience is further enhanced through the AM5's smartphone compatibility. The integration of mobile technology allows users to control and monitor their car's security system remotely through a mobile application. This feature not only provides ease of operation but also facilitates real-time updates regarding the vehicle's security status.

Moreover, the AM5 system is designed to be flexible, allowing for easy upgrades with additional accessories such as remote start modules or additional sensors. This adaptability ensures that the system can evolve alongside changing user needs and advancements in automotive technology.

In summary, the Directed Electronics AM5 is a comprehensive vehicle security solution that leverages advanced technology to ensure vehicle safety and user convenience. Its robust features, including two-way communication, shock and tilt sensors, an engine immobilizer, and smartphone integration, make it one of the most reliable systems available on the market today.
