Replacing the Light Bulbs

Depending on your model, the fireplace uses two (2) or three (3) clear 120 Volt, 60 Watt, E-12 socket base light bulbs (small base, chandelier candle type) located under the ember bed. Units with overhead lights (Fig.

9)use two (2) clear 120 Volt, 5 Watt, E-12 socket base light bulbs (small base, chandelier candle type) located above the logs. For convenience, if one of the light bulbs burns out, it may be easier to replace all of the light bulbs at the same time.

Do not exceed 60 Watts per bulb for the ember bed bulbs and 5 Watts per bulb for the overhead lights. Use of higher rated bulbs may result in a fire, causing proper- ty damage, personal injury or loss of life.

1.Turn off power to the unit.

2.Let fireplace cool if it has been operating.

3.Remove fixed front panel, or open doors (depend- ing on model).

4.Locate two (2) screws that hold the refractory (brick patterned) bracket together with the ember bed. (Fig. 6) (Not applicable to HEF22)

Remove Screws

5.Remove those two (2) screws using an appropriate screwdriver. One screw is located on either side of the unit.

Pull Here (both sides)

6.Pull the ember bed out of the unit, by gently pulling towards you and only slightly upwards. Depending on the model, you can remove the refractory prior to removing the ember bed.

7.Looking into the opening of the unit under the ember bed, visually locate the light bulbs.

8.Remove the light bulbs by unscrewing them out of the bases, turning them counterclockwise. You can use one hand to hold the light socket in place, if required.

9.Install the new light bulb(s) by turning the light bulb into the base clockwise. You can use one hand to hold the light socket in place, if required.

10.Reposition the ember bed. If required, gently raise the refractory panels, one at a time, to tuck the ember bed edge underneath them.

11.Reposition the refractory bracket, aligning the refractory in place as required.

12.Reinstall the two (2) screws removed in Step 5.

HEF22 specifications

CFM Corporation has long been a leader in the aerospace industry, renowned for its innovative aircraft engines. One of its standout products is the HEF22, a high-efficiency turbofan engine that has made significant waves in both commercial and military aviation sectors. The HEF22 integrates advanced technologies designed to enhance performance, fuel efficiency, and overall operational capabilities, making it a prime choice for contemporary aircraft.

One of the key features of the HEF22 is its advanced composite materials. This innovation allows for lighter engine components without sacrificing strength or durability. The weight reduction directly contributes to improved fuel efficiency, enabling airlines to operate with lower fuel consumption and reduced carbon emissions. The use of composite materials also enhances the engine's resistance to corrosion and wear, ensuring a longer operational lifespan.

CFM Corporation's HEF22 is equipped with a state-of-the-art digital engine control system. This system optimizes performance by constantly monitoring and adjusting various parameters, ensuring that the engine operates at peak efficiency under varying conditions. The predictive maintenance capabilities of this system also play a crucial role in reducing downtime and maintenance costs, giving operators a comprehensive overview of engine health in real-time.

Another notable characteristic of the HEF22 is its noise reduction technology. The engine incorporates advanced acoustic treatments and design features that significantly lower the noise footprint, making it compliant with stringent noise regulations. This aspect is increasingly important as airports and regulatory bodies worldwide impose stricter noise limits, particularly in urban areas.

The HEF22's thrust capability is also impressive, providing the necessary power for both takeoff and sustained flight in various aircraft configurations. Its adaptability makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from fuel-efficient regional jets to larger commercial aircraft, thereby meeting the diverse needs of the aviation market.

Additionally, the engine prides itself on a sleek aerodynamic design. This characteristic not only contributes to its aesthetic appeal but also significantly improves overall efficiency. The HEF22's engine nacelle is engineered to minimize drag, which further enhances fuel efficiency and performance.

In conclusion, the CFM Corporation HEF22 represents the pinnacle of modern turbofan engine design, boasting cutting-edge technologies and features. With its emphasis on efficiency, durability, and reduced environmental impact, the HEF22 stands as a testament to CFM Corporation's commitment to innovation and quality in the aerospace industry.
