PRE-INSTALLATION CHECK

1.Ensure the total capacity of the humidifier is not higher than the allowable maximum steam capacity of the distributors used.

ASD 10: 22 lbs/hr (8 kg/hr)

ASD: 25 lbs/hr (9 kg/hr)

BSD: 35 lbs/hr (13 kg/hr)

CSD: 115 lbs/hr (45 kg/hr)

STEAM LINE INSTALLATION

GUIDELINES

1.Nortec steam hose should only be used on short steam runs below 10 feet.

2.Ensure that no condensate produced in the steam line will remain trapped. Steam naturally flows upward and condensate naturally flows downward.

3.See material recommended for use in the chart below. To eliminate the metal corrosion, Nortec does not recommend the use of steel piping.

BSD, CSD, ASD specifications

Nortec, a leader in the field of industrial cooling technologies, offers a range of solutions focused on the delivery of thermal comfort and efficient climate control. Their offerings include the CSD, BSD, and ASD systems, each tailored to meet diverse operational needs within various spaces.

The CSD (Chilled Water Series) units are designed for high-capacity cooling applications. They are ideal for large-scale environments, such as commercial buildings, hospitals, and data centers. One of the main features of the CSD units is their modular design, allowing for easy scalability. This flexibility makes it possible to customize configurations based on specific thermal demands. Equipped with high-efficiency compressors and advanced heat exchangers, the CSD series ensures optimal energy performance while minimizing operational costs. The inclusion of intelligent controls further enhances their performance by enabling precise temperature management and diagnostics.

Moving on to the BSD (Breeze Series), these units are known for their compact design and quiet operation. Ideal for residential and small commercial applications, BSD units provide a perfect balance of performance and energy efficiency. One distinctive characteristic is their ability to operate in low and high ambient temperatures, which expands their usability across various climates. The BSD units also use environmentally friendly refrigerants, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable cooling solutions. Additionally, they feature an easy-to-navigate control interface, allowing users to set their desired comfort levels effortlessly.

The ASD (Advanced Series Ducted) stands out for its versatility in handling air distribution in various building types. These ducted systems accommodate both heating and cooling, offering an all-in-one solution for indoor climate control. Their main features include high static pressure capability, which ensures efficient air delivery even over long duct runs. The ASD systems utilize variable speed fans that adapt airflow based on real-time demand, contributing to energy savings. Furthermore, integration with smart building technologies is a key characteristic, enabling seamless control and monitoring via IoT applications.

In conclusion, Nortec’s CSD, BSD, and ASD systems exemplify advanced technologies and innovative designs tailored to meet the broad spectrum of cooling and heating needs in different environments. By focusing on efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendliness, Nortec solidifies its status as a key player in the climate control sector.
