The handle adjust bar (14344) for the polishers are individually preset at the factory for optimum locking efficiency and minimum effort of engaging. It should not be necessary to adjust the handle adjust bar unless the relationship of the handle adjust bar nut (57275) or fixed clamp bolt (70692) and their corresponding nuts (57275) and washer (87086) have been disturbed. The handle can be positioned to be locked with the handle adjust bar pointing either up or down. In order to change the position the handle and bolt must be removed and rotated 180 degrees. It is incorrect to make it lock opposite from the way it was assembled by applying more force to the nut. From the factory the locking is in the up position when the machine handle is locked. The pivot pin (66334) on the handle adjust bar is off center, in relationship of the screw to the axis of the (see drawing). To adjust handle adjust bar, tighten nut on handle while in the locked position. The handle is locked when the screw is to the outside of the machine and the flat on the opposite side of the handle is flush to the bracket.

1.To adjust handle lock, tighten nut on handle while in the locked position. Optimum locking force and ease of locking is accomplished when the locking lever nut is set to a torque of 30 to 50 inch pounds in the locked position.

2.Gap between clamp halves at the front should be to the gap in rear when the handle adjust bar is adjusted properly and in the locked position (gap approximately 1/16").

SPDS20, SP13, SP17, SP20, SP15 specifications

The Windsor SP17X, SP20, SP17, SP20X, and SP13 are part of a line of robust and efficient floor care equipment designed to meet the cleaning needs of various environments. Ideal for commercial and industrial use, these machines are engineered to deliver superior performance while ensuring ease of use and durability.

The Windsor SP17X and SP20 models are outliers in the world of full-size carpet extractors. With their large capacity tanks, these machines can handle extensive cleaning tasks without the need for frequent refills. The SP17X features a powerful vacuum motor that enhances extraction capabilities, allowing for deeper cleaning of carpets and upholstery. It also comes equipped with an adjustable spray pressure feature, enabling users to customize the water flow to suit different flooring types.

Meanwhile, the SP20 offers a slightly larger tank capacity, making it suitable for larger areas. This model showcases an ergonomic design that facilitates easy maneuverability, reducing operator fatigue during long cleaning sessions. Both models emphasize user convenience with features such as a removable recovery tank for straightforward waste disposal and easy maintenance.

Moving to the Windsor SP17 and SP20X, these machines further enhance floor care capabilities. The SP17 is known for its lightweight design, making it simple to transport between different job sites. It also boasts efficient cleaning paths that maximize productivity without compromising on cleaning quality. The SP20X, however, takes this a step further with advanced technology that includes integrated chemical dispensing systems. This innovation allows for precise chemical application, ensuring optimal cleaning results across varying surface types.

Completing the lineup is the Windsor SP13, a compact yet powerful machine designed for smaller spaces. It packs significant cleaning power into a lightweight body, formulated to handle tight corners and confined areas effectively. Its narrow design allows operators to easily navigate around obstacles, making it ideal for office spaces, restaurants, and retail environments.

In summary, the Windsor SP17X, SP20, SP17, SP20X, and SP13 models deliver exceptional performance across a range of cleaning applications. Their various tank sizes, advanced features, and ergonomic designs make them invaluable tools for maintaining cleanliness in commercial settings. Each model is engineered with state-of-the-art technology, making it easier for operators to achieve professional-grade results while minimizing labor fatigue. Collectively, they represent a versatile solution for modern flooring care needs.
