1 . Pulloutthebucket,graspingupperand lowerhandles .

2. Carrythe bucketby graspingthe inside handleof thebucket .

3. Afteremptyingthe bucket,replacethe bucketin thedehumidifier .

NOTE .Dehumidifierwillnotworkwhenthe BUCKETFULLlightis on or withoutthe bucketproperlyplacedin the unit.

OPTION3, PUMPDRAIN

1. RemovethePUMPDRAINCAPbyturn- ingclockwise(Reversethread)(Fig. . 1)

2. Removethedrain-holePLUGby pullingout whilepressingin on thecoupler(Fig. . 2)

Keepthe DRAINCAPand PLUGfor futureuse.

3. Feedthe 1/4-inchhoseprovidedthrough theholeintheDRAINCAP .(Fig . 3)

4. Insertthe endof hoseintothedrainhole (Fig . 4),thenscrewDRAINCAPback ontothe unit.Placethe otherendof the hosein the locationyouwantthewaterto go:to a floordrain,a watercontainer,or througha basementwindowto the

outdoors(Pump. canliftwaterupto 15 feetabovetheunit.)Checkhoseforkinks or otherobstruction.

OPTION2, GRAVITYDRAINHOSE (HoseNotProvided)

1 .TakeoffGRAVITYDRAINCAPby turning thecapcounterclockwise(Fig. . 1)

2 . RemoveDRAINCONNECTORfromthe bucket(Fig. . 2)

3 . Next,screwthe DRAINCONNECTOR to a standardgardenhoseby turning clockwise(Fig. . 3)

4 . Reattachthe DRAINCONNECTORend of gardenhoseto thedehumidifier(Fig . a) thencheckhosefor kinksor obstructions . The positionof the hoseat thefloordrain mustbe lowerthanDRAINCONNECTOR .
