File Guard

Application

File Guard is ideal for turning an ordinary filing cabinet into a security cabinet. Its steel channel bar and 38" steel mounting bolts ensure maximum security for confidential, classified and secret documents. Almond and black finishes complement any cabinet or office décor.

Features

Ease of installation: Simply attach the top and bottom pins (and the self-storing hinge on the F2570 Series) to the front of the cabinet.

Fits most cabinets: Available in lengths to fit standard 2, 3, 4 and 5-drawer cabinets, with custom lengths also available.

Secure: Provides added protection as compared with most built-in cabinet locks from the manufacturer.

Easy to use: Designed for quick and easy removal and replacement, as many times per day as required.

Optional Locking Features

Model FG10: Pushbutton lock File Guard, with a mounted pushbutton lock for convenient, user controlled keyless access. Thousands of changeable combinations.

Model F2500: For use with a padlock (not included). Meets U.S. Department of Defense requirements for storage of secret and classified material when used with an appropriate lock.

Model F2570: For use with a padlock (not included). The locking bar will pivot away from the front of the unit to permit drawer opening. Meets U.S. Department of Defense requirements for storage of secret and classified material when used with an appropriate lock.

Model F2580: Built-in 5-pin key lock (Schlage “C” or Weiser keyway) in a rugged steel housing. Keyed different. Can be keyed alike upon request. Master and grand master keying available on request.
