2.4TIRAGE

Le rendement de votre poêle Eastwood EPA sera optimisé s’il est raccordé à un système de cheminée (évacuation) qui lui fournit un tirage adéquat. Le tirage est la force qui déplace l’air jusque dans la cheminée à partir de l’appareil. Ce tirage est affecté essentiellement par la hauteur et le diamètre de la cheminée, ainsi que par les températures de l’appel d’air du poêle. Si vous mesurez le tirage à l’aide d’un manomètre, vous devriez obtenir une lecture entre 0,05" et 0,07" de colonne d’eau (W.C.) pour un feu de moyenne intensité. Une mesure de tirage de moins de 0,03" W.C. causera des difficultés au niveau de l’opération alors qu’un tirage trop fort (de plus de 0,10" W.C.) entraînera une surchauffe du poêle. Ceci peut avoir comme résultat des températures d’opération excessives. Dans ce cas, un registre manuel peut être installé dans le tuyau de raccordement vertical pour aider à réduire le tirage excessif.
