CHAPTER 11 : Viewing Options

Your DMT offers 6 settings to maximize your viewing enjoyment. To edit these options follow the steps below.

¥While watching ASTRO programmes, press MENU. The main menu screen will appear.

¥Press 4 on the numeric keypad to select ÒOptionsÓ

¥Press or to select the required option

¥Press or to make the required adjustment for each option.

¥Press MENU twice to return to normal TV viewing

Preferred Audio Language

This option allows you to select your preferred audio language. The pre- ferred audio language will be heard whenever it is available in ASTROÕs broadcast. Otherwise, a default language (usually the original language) for the selected channel will be heard.

Preferred Subtitle Language

This option allows you to select your preferred subtitle language. The selected preferred subtitle language will be displayed first whenever subtitles are requested.

Note : Some programmes may already contain subtitles within the picture area which cannot be changed or turned off.

Screen Width

This option enables you to tell your DMT whether you have a 4:3 (normal) or 16:9 ( widescreen) TV.

¥If you chose ÒnormalÓ, ASTRO programmes will be shown in the normal 4:3 format.

¥If you select ÒwideÓ the DMT will automatically display any 16:9 widescreen programs in the correct format.

Note : Availability of the 16:9 picture format is dependent on ASTROÕs broad- cast. All of ASTROÕs broadcast are in the 4:3 format today.
